Joh 3.7 +

Joh 3.7

“Marvel not that I said unto thee,

‘Ye must be born again.’”

It is not possible to pray with confidence toward the Lord

without being aware of His presence.” – T M Anderson

Are you Born Again, a follower of the Lamb, a citizen of the Kingdom of Heaven. Great. Happy for you!

If you’ve not been consciously redeemed by Jesus Christ (& are mentally accountable) you’re a sinner. You may attend church every Lord’s Day, give God 10% (or more), not use His name as a curse word, & hold church positions, but you’re a wannabe unless you’re forgiven & are living above sin.

* God Wants you to be more than a Wannabe. *

“God…cannot & will not save any man against his will

but He will convict a man of sin against his will.”

– T M Anderson, /Prayer Availeth Much/

1 of 46 “…Pride & arrogancy…do I hate”(Pro 8.13).

Lev 26.19 And I will break the PRIDE of your power; and

I will make your heaven as iron, and your earth as brass:

To the traveler,                     life is a journey.

To the biographer,                life is a journal.

To the attorney,                    life is a jury.

To the entertainer,                life is a jest.

But to the Christian,             life is Jesus, joyous Jesus.

– eab March  1977

“I had not noticed that the humblest & at the same time most balanced & capacious minds praised, most while the cranks misfits & malcontents praised least…The healthy & unaffected man even if luxuriously brought up & widely experienced in cookery could praise a very modest meal: the dyspeptic & the snob found fault with all.”

– C S Lewis, /Reflection…Psalms/

Some men, not a few I fear, are trying to accept “x” as a holiness minister/professor because of what he speaks or writes. These “holiness” men seem willing to let “x” (& his wife, an extension of him) be exempt from living a life /separate/ from the world. Why? “Well, he pens/says such nice ideas.” WorDs, remember, are easy to say (especially if you think your audience wants to hear such). WorKs – how man & mate live out daily lives – are harder. Christ looks at works (See 2Co 11.15, Rev 20.12-13).

Rev 20.12b

“…The dead were judged out of those things

which were written in the books,

according to their works.”

“Fully to enjoy is to glorify.

In commanding us to glorify Him God is inviting us to enjoy Him.”

– C S Lewis, /Reflection…Psalms/

Oliver Wendell Holms said, “Some people are so heavenly-minded that they are no earthly good,” a statement he’s (IMO) wanted to revise since 10/7/1894 (D.O.D.).

No, Sir, the people who’ve done this earth it’s very most good are those who were mindful of heaven, its holy requirements, & proclaimed the same to earth’s men.
