Eze 18.4 +

Eze 18.4

“…All souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.”

“The Bible never talks about sometime, somewhere, once upon a time, in a never-never land…The Bible talks about something that happened right down here on earth.”

– S D Herron

It’s sad when a woman wants to be noticed because of her bust, hips etc. It can be as sad (maybe more so) when a man wants his biceps, chest or lack of weight to be noticed. Friend, your body & mine is the least important thing about us. Of Greater importance is the mind. The Greatest part is the soul. The great body you think you have is headed for the grave (& that mind). Please, sir, ma’am, seek God for a great soul – it’s headed for eternity.

– eab, 1/1/19

“…Purity was part of Pentecost. These men were changed from self seeking,

self-righteous men to mighty, sanctified, Spirit-filled men of God.”

– S D Herron

Some doctors lie to their patients,

Tell them that “all is well.”

Some door-to-door men also lie;

They make money as they sell.

Some people lie to their best friend,

Falsely saying, “I’ll never tell.”

Worse than all are teachers/preachers,

Who write/profess that there’s no hell.

“They did eat they drank, they married wives they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark…”(Luk 17.27). It’s not a sin to eat or drink (keep from hard drink) – we must eat & drink to live. It’s not a sin to marry or be given in such – we must propagate for the race to “live.” What is the problem then? Perhaps because that was /all/ they thought about: the here & the now.

2Ti 4.2

“Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke,

exhort with all longsuffering & doctrine.”

“…Being adopted…he is ever to feel himself absolutely at the disposal of God…to take God’s word for the rule of his life & God’s Spirit…the regulator of his heart & affections.”

– Adam Clarke

“Without conviction of sin, no contrition; without contrition, no faith that justifies; without faith, no justification, no sanctication; without sanctification, no glorification.”

– Adam Clarke
