Gen 1.16-17 +

Gen 1.16 – 17

“…God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day & the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

“…God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth.”

“…Rest…He can impart to you that rest

that characterizes His own nature.”

– T M Anderson

30 of 46 “…Pride & arrogancy…do I hate”(Pro 8.13).

Eze 7.10 Behold the day, behold, it is come: the morning is gone forth; the rod hath blossomed, PRIDE hath budded.

“This spirit of forgiveness must work easily readily & without effort no matter what the offense may be nor how often it has been committed.”

– T M Anderson

NEW SWORD

On that day they were of accord

Waiting, obeying their “live” Lord.

Then the Spirit came with power,

Heaven’s baptismal shower,

Holy fire became their new sword.

American Christians are in danger of being Americans 1st & Christians 2nd. This danger is real. Now – – -the average evangelical or holiness attendee, won’t admit it, but they’re about as happy waving the stars & stripes as they are waving a Bible (maybe more happy). – 7/9/19

Mar 8.38

“Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me & of my words in this adulterous & sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.”

A watchman on the wall in days of ancient, walled cities was to say what he saw. If you, Dear Reader, wish to un-friend me because of a warning you think “too much,” you may. I believe in what I post (I’m not playing) but am aware that what I “see” may not be the whole pic, & we may not live to see it all happen. Yours truly has been aware of a possible secret government (deep state if you like) for at least 6 decades. There are conspiracies (anti-conspiracies?), controlled oppositions, fake news, & have been for many decades. Be willing to re-think what you heard even at church – is it really Biblical? -7/20/19

“Jesus is the most wonderful personage that ever trod this old sin-cursed earth…He entrances the mind, enchaines the vision. Wonderful Christ! Wonderful salvation! Wonderful Love!”

– J B McBride

LONG POST. You noticed a new car in the parking lot. You walked into the sanctuary & couldn’t believe your eyes. The people from that car were in your pew (well, you actually don’t pay rent but you’d been there for yrs). What do you do? You walk up, extend a hand, & say, “Hi, I’m Bill, this is my wife, Lou. Welcome to our church” (& mean every word of it). Then you take the first empty pew in front of them. “But – but – everyone knows it’s ‘our pew’ & will be watching.” You got that right – your sis or brother, your grandkid, your ornery neighbor, will be watching to see if there’s a scowl on your face or a coolness as you shake hands. “But – but – my Bible is where I left it in ‘their’ songbook rack.” Don’t you DARE mention it or try to retrieve it. Shake hands at the close of service & do NOT mention “your” pew. Was this was God’s way of moving you forward? J – 7/20/19

“The remorse alone of a lost soul

will make a hell too awful to describe.”

– J B McBride
