his ears are open unto their prayers…”

never fears dying.”
– Wm Penn
34 of 46 “…Pride & arrogancy…do I hate”(Pro 8.13).
Dan 4.37 Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in PRIDE he is able to abase.
“If I am even with my enemy, the debt is paid;
but if I forgive it I oblige him forever.”

ancient Book
I’ve found an ancient, timely Book;
On Its pages I daily look.
It gives advice for married folk,
Agrees that salt goes with the yolk,
Encourages a carefulness,
Lifts one up when in distress.
Gives wisdom to all who ask.
Wearing Its “yoke” is not a task.
Will you also read this great Book?
You’ll never regret Its way you took.

There’s a place to memorize: colors, geometric shapes, alphabet, Scriptures, spelling “rules,” multiplication tables, states, river/mountain locations, state capitols, “kingdoms” of plant/animal, etc. Some “educators” continue to emphasis memorization & there’s much to be said for it. But there’s a time to get beyond memorized “who” “what” “where” & “when” to the all important “Why.” True teachers delight in helping students Think. It’s one of the most important things we ever do & a real preparation for living; both now & eternally. T-H-I-N-K. 1/7/18
Rev 3.10
“…I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.”
“Think outside the box.” What’s a box? A box can be religious beliefs with which you were raised; you never thought them through & accepted them as true, nor have you thought of them enough to reject them. Churches &/or denominations are boxes. You should examine them. Schools are clearly boxes. They took, told you this was true, fed you “facts” (what kid doesn’t believe a textbook?), sent you out indoctrinated. Hopefully it’s not too late for you to scrutinize what you were told. Break out of that box & think. – 1/7/18
1 of 2. “If we settle for anything less than victory for our young people, we settle for anything less than victory for the sodomite, if we settle for anything less than victory for the drunk…”
– James Plank, sermon, 1/21/19
Christians should resist temptations to draw attention:
A.) To our mind, by being (trying to be L) “witty.”
B.) To our souls, by showy & too detailed “testimonies” (about you, You, YOU).
C.) To our body/hair, by wearing clothing that’s tight or hair that’s trendy. 1/10/18
2 of 2. “…If we settle for anything less than victory for the addict, if we settle for anything less than victory for the murderer…we’ve lost our message. Period!
– James Plank, sermon, 1/21/19
