Disclaimer. When I post about praying & prayer, please don’t think that I’m a great prayer – nor surmise that “I think” I’m a great prayer. The Lord has helped me to pray a little more (& I’ve enjoyed His sweet presence some) but I’m in the 1st grade – if the school of prayer has grades. So – let my little posts on prayer prod us ALL to establish that Prayer Closet. If it’s already started, to visit it more often & to both go in & come out, with a greater desire to communicate with our Heavenly Father. – 8/21/19

God is the most Real Being. The Son is absolutely Authentic. The Holy Spirit is Genuine. I wish people would stop posting truths about One of the Holy Trinity, heaven, hell, etc. as “coming from” cartoon characters, disney animals, or other make-believe drawings. These are so fake, so unreal, so secular, it seems (IMO) to degrade the truths supposedly coming from their mouths. Am I the only one seeing this? It is incongruous AND unbefitting to the honor & respect we owe God & His holy Word. – 8/20/19

The Creator, God of heaven & earth, knows your name, aye, every name of your many fb friends. Super! He knows the name of everybody in Texas or Alaska, or Ohio. Great! Father knows the name of every Canadian, US & Mexican citizen – Let that steep a moment. The Lord knows the name of every man in the mountains of Asia, every person in the plains of Europe, every human on the trails/highways of South Am. & everybody along the countless shorelines of Oceania. AND – The Triune God died for all of us. We can go to heaven. Praise the Lord. – 8/21/19

Are you seeing what I am? Posts of doom if This is not done, or That is not voted down, or So-n-so is not voted in? Do not, I beg you, be corralled (that’s what they do with “dumb, driven cattle” – Henry W Longfellow) into voting, supporting, being a “cheerleader” for any man-made cause or party. All these fail – have & will. We’re to pray for the king (president in US – I do, daily) but our allegiance is to The incomparable KING of czars, emperors, kings, presidents of all continents/centuries. “…He removeth kings & setteth up kings…”(Dan 2.21). “Yea all kings shall fall down before him: all nations shall serve him”(Psa 72.11).
