Salvation is God-made. Religions are man-made. Salvation came from heaven & if fully believed will take you up there. Religions stare on earth, never raise higher, but will, matter-of-fact, lead to hell below. Religions (though some appear better than others) are ALL substitutes for salvation. Sin pollutes. Not only has sin polluted our Lads & Lasses, not only has sin polluted our Land – sin has polluted our Language. “Gay” was once a good word used by poets (it rhymed with “day, bay, say, may” etc). Now sinners are trying to pollute the great word/concept “husband.” When two sinners of the same sex have sex, neither is a “husband” they are both perverting the cleanness of God’s creation, & sadly perverting our Language. – 11/24/19

There was a time (Thank God) some evangelicals never entered theaters. And – no holiness people did. TV arrived; a few evangelicals, a majority of holiness people refused it. The PC became common. It expanded to internet capabilities. Movies could be watched. Old hollywood/disney films were available. Sadly few evangelicals kept their homes free from this filth. And – holiness people caved. If fb is a “picture” (excuse pun), many fb friends are either attending theaters grandpa & grandma fled, or are watching similar (worse?) on laptop or a screen attached to their wall. WE HAVE FALLEN! – 11/24/19

A ventriloquist performs a type of magic. He supposedly makes the doll on his lap speak, move its head, roll its eyes, etc. Sensible people know the doll is phony but the action/words give the appearance of magic. Christians do not need magic; it is satan’s attempt at the supernatural. Abstaining “…from all appearance of evil”(1Th 5.22) surely includes magic & relatives. A miracle, when God chooses to do one, is real. The devil’s imitation is faked. – 11/20/19

Are you a seeker after truth? As a youth I wasn’t frivolous (IMO), didn’t reject truth but probably wouldn’t have said I was a truth seeker. As I’ve aged (& hopefully matured) truth is more & more appealing. This can sound nigh-unto-noble. Watch that attitude. Because if one truly seeks truth, he may come around a corner & abruptly face a truth with which he is uncomfortable. Then – do we still seek truth? – 11/23/19

God can be worshipped in a formal church I suppose. I was raised without formality & feel no need of it. Give me a service in which God’s Spirit is sensed in prayer, His presence is welcomed & responded to during the singing of hymns, & He moves with unction upon testimonies & the preached Word. This freedom in the spirit only occurs when His children seek His face before the meeting, obey His leadings during the meeting, & give Him the glory afterward. Some should pray about going on a MUSIC fast (refrain from it). Your car CD player is running most of the time the engine is. Your play list has too much secular or “christian” rock/swing/pop on it. Modern songs aren’t all wrong (God has given eab several words/tunes in the last 50 yrs) but many are as shallow kiddy “pools.” Would you be willing to FAST music for the next two weeks or month? CALLED – C. 9.) Begin to read as never before. Read evangelical classics i.e. books which have proved their worth from centuries ago & Reformation forward. (Everything but God’s Word should be read with a willingness to “select meat & spit out bones.”) 10.) Read holiness classics, i.e. volumes produced by early Methodists & “daughter” churches which came out of her. Some people seem to enjoy when men practice & practice & move in precision. Or when women learn to dance & move (on stage/on ice) in exact unison. These are absolutely earthy! Such animal movement will stay on earth. What we need is to be redeemed & so in unison with Holy Spirit that we can move with Him, doing exactly as He leads (doing it all without human “practice”) & speaking/acting for God’s eternal glory! “O, Lord let us move as You move.” – 11/13/19

Without leaving fb you can search him. Did it the last 24. The guy quoted was roman catholic. The catholics do not honor Christ, revere Mary, call mere men “father” etc. Don’t quote them. – 11/19/19

Allow me to EMPHASIZE please include the Book, chapter & verse reference for all you memorize.
