Nov 9 – Psa 30.4 Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his &

“The things we say in prayer are powerless & meaningless
unless we have Christ’s authority to say them.”
– T M Anderson, /Prayer Availeth Much/
Please, know Who you quote. His 10-20 word quote may sound – uh – “OK,” sound “orthodox,” even sound “cute.” How did/does he LIVE? I’ve seen a 1.) sodomite 2.) man who turned from non-catholic to catholic 3.) man whose wife’s appearance should shock 4.) priest 5.) atheist 6.) hollywood actors quoted on social media by holiness people. You quoting him gives him a bit of authority with John Doe. The next quote from him may NOT be “OK” but be accepted by your followers because you quoted him. – 11/9/19
“We are not disturbed by doubts & defeats
when we make everything a matter of earnest prayer.”
– T M Anderson, /Prayer Availeth Much/
I AM (long poem)
I Am was His name when He made the first dame
To birth and own her own.
And trees’ fruits and flowers were given genetic powers
To produce exactly what was sown.
I Am was His name (its always STILL the same –
– From everlasting, He is God!)
When He anviled the sun and gave it a course to run
Over earth’s vast sand and sod.
I Am was His name when the world of past fame
Was left desolate of its every, first-born.
And God lead His children out (even those with a pout);
Their cloths never suffered from the thorn.
And I Am He still is, in spite of “show biz”
And hollywood’s enthronement.
No puny man can e’er assume that glorious throne room,
No, not for a milli-moment.
I Am – what a name! But it really is tame
For all the Majesty and Honor and Might
Of His eternal Being, so beyond human seeing
And yet ever lives in faith’s sight. – eab, Nov. 1994
“There is no question that Calvin imposed upon the Bible certain interpretations from his Roman Catholic background.
– Dave Hunt
Many Methodist preachers in great days of Methodism (colonies/British Isles) were saved & called to preach young. Either he was sanctified then or began to seek & live carefully as he started preaching & was sanctified afterward. Though he read, he never attended college. By the time some moderns are finally leaving school he’d traveled 1000’s of miles, lead 100’s to Christ, & was on his 2nd 3rd 4th circuit. We’re missing something, Brothers/Sisters, we’re missing something. God help us! -11/9/19
Mat 7.16
“Ye shall know them by their fruits.
Do men gather grapes of thorns or figs of thistles?”
As the world rushes to destruction, dear Saint, deepen. Increase (not lessen) your Bible reading. Become more (not less) fervent in prayer. Have added (not subtracted) patience with worldly family/friends. Become more regular (not less) in Family Altar. You need to draw closer so YOU don’t miss heaven AND so Lost Acquaintances looking for steadiness in the swift change can see you & seek your God. – 11/9/19
“…The writings of Augustine were the actual source
of most of what is know as Calvinism today.”
– Dave Hunt
