“A godly man must save both time & money.
Before he was converted he lost…time & squandered…money.
– Adam Clarke
ENDLESS END
There was an “early” Eternity,
When God alone was there.
We’re now in “mid” Eternity,
Times of decisions, times of prayer
A “late” Eternity hovers on the horizon
When choices are concrete, deciding done.
But Eternity will never be fully past
E-T-E-R-N-I-T-Y will last & last & last
Make now, the very right choices, Friend,
So you’re joyful all that endless End. – eab, 11/3018
“…Converse sparingly with women” says Mr. Wesley to men,
“especailly with young women.”
– quoted by A. Clarke
Don’t look for “holes” in the Bible – look for the Holiness that’s there.
Don’t look for “mistakes” in the Bible – look for the unmistakable greatness it contains.
Don’t look for things with which you disagree – see the areas the Bible disagrees with you & correct it.

2Co 6.2
“…I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee…”
“The simplest way to live more than an average life
is to add an hour to the fresh end of the day.”
– Bruce Barton
“I can get saved when I want to” can be said with different attitudes (O, be very careful, willful heart, of your attitude; you are dealing with the greatest possible relationship – – – your ever existing soul & the One who is Almighty) Jesus said, “No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him…”(Joh 6.44). Those are super-serious words – listen. 11/23/19
“I can get saved when I want to” – your time to die may not be with cancer or a disease which grants you time to think, repent, ask forgiveness of God & man. Therefore “when I want to” fails. “When I want” also has failed where the presence of mind is absent – they don’t have enough clear thinking to fully, honestly get right with God. Do not put off the call to salvation. 11/23/19
“The greatest poem ever written consists of one hundred & eighty-eight words.
It is the Twenty-Third Psalm.”
– Bruce Barton
