Pro 15.15
“All the days of the afflicted are evil: but
he that is of a merry heart hath a continual feast.”
“If you have at anytime thought, spoke, or acted wrongly, be not backward to acknowledge it. Never dream that this will hurt the cause of God; no. It will farther it.”
– Wesley, quoted by John Fletcher
Hell (IMO) will never improve. I seriously question that the damned will “get used to it.”
Heaven will need no improvement – happily “wonderful” forever.
It is likely (IMO) that heaven will either have new delights as “time” goes by, or we will “discover” ones, new to us, which our eyes did not “catch” at first. – 12/4/19
“Adam, ye know, lost his human perfection in paradise;
satan lost his angelic perfection in heaven.”
– John Fletcher
WHAT GROUND ARE YOU?
A sower went forth to his deed
To scatter abroad his good seed
Alas, some fell where it could not grow.
What ground are you, friend – Do you know?
Read the Lord’s parables; take heed. – eab, Dec. 2006
“Many are now eager to possess the gift of healing
who would not cross the street to receive the grace of perfected holiness.”
– Daniel Steele, S.T.D. /Gospel of t Comforter/
Dear fellow Christian, PAY ATTENTION. Don’t be so interested the political idea of a meme that you overlook (or worse, ignore) 4 letter word(s). I’m sorry to see people more interested in politics, than in being correct in God’s sight. Sorry to see them post what they’d never say to me in person. Amen? Ouch?
Eph 4.29
“Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but
that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.”
If you need a contrast between you & God, try this. Make a list of all the people you know in a country on a continent which is not your native one. Then realize that God can name every man/woman/child in every village/city/country side in every country on that continent and – – – (are you ready for this) He not only knows their name He has their hair-count (Luk 12.7). – 12/15/19
“To expel all proneness to sin, all that is required
is to inspire an unconquerable love of holiness…”
– Daniel Steele, S.T.D. /Gospel of t Comforter/
