Your mind has 2 important portals, secondary, but still strong: your ears. They were the 1st ones you used. Studies (unless I’m mistaken) show you recognized voices before being birth. After birth, you Heard much of what you learned & childhood sounds became pleasing or displeasing to you. Parental music choices, sounds of the sea, or wind’s whorl influenced your mind via the ear ports. Please, Friend, be careful about what you hear – ears funnel info directly to your mind. – 1/2/20

Are there more important doors to your mind? Yes! Eyes. Once upon-a-time no one watched TV; it didn’t exist. The “moving-picture-show” did earlier; few evangelicals or holiness people went to theaters. When TV showed up Christians had to choose. Too many bought 1, too many got Hooked on “innocent” shows. When programs got more risqué too few had the intestinal fortitude to stop. My in-laws never had a TV, my parents never had 1, and my wife & I’ve never had TV. We’re clean all the way back to Adam. – 1/3/20

Internet entered the entertainment scene. That, along with smart phones allow people to see 1000’s of movies. CHRISTIAN – allow me to urge, stop looking at movies so much. The images are often immodest or pornographic. The dialogues use suggestive &/or filthy words. People who claim to Love Jesus are filling their minds with vile characters. They’re enthralled with scenes where everything is fake. They are immersed in hollywood’s (disney’s also) make-believe world which leads downward toward hell. – 1/3/20
