Lev 20.26 +

Lev 20.26

“…Ye shall be holy unto me: for I the LORD am holy

& have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine.

Does your congregation have a service (once a week) to only pray? No speaking, but meeting to hear God speak? No musical instruments, but so wanting to hear heavenly sounds? No formal dismissal, but each leaving or staying as they sense is needed? A service to just pray? If so, *Do *You *Go? – 2/1/20

“If a mans says that he is youstitied by faith & keeps right on sinning just the same as before,

his youstiificaiton is a mistake.”

– Gavazzi (Italian Orator, related by D.Steele)

ADAM and EVE

Adam and his wife tried to hide,

They knew now the serpent had lied.

When God came for His daily walk,

They didn’t want to see Him, or talk.

Oh, the loss. Sin did now abide.

It takes a broadminded person to find the narrow way.”

– J Belvin Green

Footbaal. Basketbaal, Basebaal – “We’ll drop the extra ‘a’ add an extra ‘l’ & they’re so interested in playing they’ll hardly realize they’re worshipping an old ‘god.’” [As if from the perpetrators.]

Baal (bā’el, bāl, bäl)…1. the fertility god of the Canaanites. 2. any of numerous local deities among the ancient Semitic peoples, typifying the generative forces of nature. 3. a false god. [< Heb ba’al lord, owner]

Jdg 2.13

“And they forsook the LORD,

and served Baal and Ashtaroth.”

Oh, Lord, if you will only save me in this world,

you shall never hear the last of it in the next.”

– A woman that Sam Jones quoted

Have you noticed that some of the music showing-up in evangelical/holiness churches (visiting musical group or a local) is worldly? It may appear in prelude (though it’s not worshipful), offertory time, or even in a special. In the past I was exposed to the Big Band sound or “swing.” It (as I understand) was dance stuff. Bro. Sis. such doesn’t belong in God’s house. If you’re having a group in find out what music they do. Music is powerful & music is one way satan enters in & destroys the atmosphere in the Holy place. – 2/2/20
