2Sa 22.30 +

2Sa 22. 30

“For by thee I have run through a troop:

by my God have I leaped over a wall.”

Is there an activity that you really enjoy? Is it one with which you can grow old or as you age will it be less enjoyable? Women – after a certain point (IMO) many woman lose interest in fancy clothing. Men – after a certain point many men can’t do their favorite sport well. Men Please, Women Please, develop a deep interest in Prayer. It’s an activity in which you can grow old & be better at when aged, than now. – 3/6/20

“Saul had the greatest Old Testament pastor – Samuel.”

– Richard Humble

Abraham

Friend Abraham took his good son.

God tested; God found He had won.

Gangly “world-class” horns

Caught the ram in near thorns;

Soon the sacrifice was all done. Gen 22.13

“…The great truth that we can live above sin started the Holiness Movement &

it has to be propagated, if the Holiness Movement is to be perpetuated.”

– Andrew N Johnson

To be opposed to the expansion of the military of “x” country is NOT the same as being opposed to That Country. I do not wish to see Canada, China, or Columbia make their respective armies bigger. God has allowed me to visit these three lands, I found beauty & friendliness in all, & can honestly say I liked the people. Point? I strongly like the USA: mountains & plains, history & people but I am opposed to the huge role the army (& co-forces) play in too many Christian’s minds. – 3/6/20

2Co 10.4

“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but

mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;”

“Never make a Christ out of your faith, nor think of it as if it were independent of your salvation…

the power is not in the faith but in the God upon whom faith relies.”

– Charles H Spurgeon

So, you’ve seen a movie about “x” & now feel you have a grasp of “who he was” or what “an event” was. Your coziness about “knowing” would please the movie-maker. Even if “x” was fiction, the book writer knows you’ve missed a great deal of the story. If “x” was real, the chances are even greater that what you’ve seen is so different from history. Stop watching movies. Christian, stop wasting precious hours of your short life on a director’s interpretations. “Well, it beats knowing nothing about “x.” Probably not. No movie-maker can take contents of a 12 hour *read* & give it to you in 2. Impossible. – 3/6/20
