2Sa 22.33

“God is my strength & power &

he maketh my way perfect.”

“[Saints] have scorned the sinful, renounced the carnal, triumphed over the natural,

& found a new realm of spiritual relationship in Christ!”

– Harry Jessop

Everlasting Father. Adam became a father & (IMO) continued being a father to perhaps 200 sons & daughters. He was still “father” after he died but in a sense his fatherhood could be argued to end the day of death. Methuselah may, or may not, have been “dad” longer than Adam but his fatherhood likewise came to an end. God has been Father to His Son from eternity & since creation He has been Father to the redeemed children of men. He will live forever so He is literally the Everlasting Father. – 3/5/20

“One can’t be sinning & born of God at the same time.

That is the law of truth.”

– Andrew N Johnson

It takes faith to meet Him

It takes faith to receive Him

It takes faith to accept the Holiness He imparts

It takes faith to walk each day

Up the narrow way

We must believe with all our hearts!

– eab, Mar. 1995

Do we believe in prayer? “Silly question, Bryan, we have prayer at church every service.” Let me say it a different way – Do we believe in the Power of prayer? You can have a form of prayer: standing (too popular), bowing while seated, kneeling, but never tap into the Power of prayer. Pray at home, pray while working, pray as you walk or drive. Our houses of worship should all be Houses of Prayer but too often prayer it’s a form without muscle. God help us. – 3/6/20

“…The confession must be as public as the transgression.”

– Oswald J Smith

Tit 2.5

“…Discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands,

that the word of God be not blasphemed.”

Who is in charge of the weekly plan for your family? Some team schedule? A state school agenda? Mom’s social club, or Dad’s golfing/fishing buddies? Do you have an evening when both parents & all children are home? Please, dad/mom discipline yourself (Disciplined parents tend to have disciplined kiddos.) & reserve an evening or two for the all important building up of a godly family. – 3/7/20
