1Ki 18.37
“Hear me, O LORD, hear me, that this people may know that thou art the LORD God
& that thou hast turned their heart back again.”
“The last thing a soul has to give up, when seeking Salvation or Sanctification is ‘an evil heart of unbelief.’ This is satan’s stronghold.”
– Samuel L Brengle
Do not be proud of your library. Do not glory in the sheer number of books, nor the several-to-many which were printed before a certain date, nor the cluster which are leather bound. Be grateful that God has allowed you to accumulate your collection, read them, learn from them but let pride be far removed. It is as carnal to be proud of your shelves of books as to be proud of a Harley or a new car. – 3/10/20
P.S. They’ll all belong to somebody else some day – – – could be soon.
“Dear brother, do not think you can make Holiness popular…it is an impossibility to make Christ Jesus popular in this world…”
– Samuel L Brengle
BOY MEETS GIRL
Boy meet girl, thinks he loves her.
And finds her so very sweet.
Girls meets this boy, sees great traits,
Finds him impossible to beat.
They walk, they sing, they talk, and things ring
In their ears, like a wedding bell.
One day he finally asks, “Will you marry me?”
She says, “My answer’s ‘Yes,’ could you tell?”
Then on to life, living together,
Each for the other, and for the Lord.
Raising a family for His glory
Disciplined by His great Word.
Ah, God’s plan has again
Been fulfilled on the earth.
Man has a good wife and
Together there’s more worth.

I’m glad your church is not following the trendy evangelical hype. Thank the Lord & thank you. But – hope this isn’t too heavy after the above compliment – But what specifically is your church doing to invite a fresh out-pouring of the Blessed Holy Spirit? Is there a hunger for Him & His manifest presence? – 3/10/20
“I cannot find one pleading man. There are many good people,
but I have found no wrestlers with God.”
– William Bramwell [written about a certain meeting]
Mat 5.6
“Blessed are they which do hunger & thirst after righteousness:
for they shall be filled.”
The very nature of a school is not neutral. It either teaches toward a better life or it indoctrinates toward a worse life. When a school bears the name “Christian” people tend to relax, they relax too much. The devil pushes in to defeat. The devil uses textbooks polluted with secular ideas, he uses board members who are neither not christian or not filled with the Spirit, & satan infiltrates it with teachers/staff who have unholy hearts. 3/10/20
“Is God real to you?
…Oh, tell me is God the supreme reality in your experience?”
– Duncan Campbell
