Gal 5.22-23a +

Gal 5.22-23a

“…The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

“Meekness, temperance…”

“…Staying in the secret place long enough

to get acquainted with God…”

– Bob Lands

Men have tried various feats: walking, riding, climbing, boating, swimming, from point “A” to “B” on earth. They’ve been acclaimed by others & perhaps bragged about it themselves. The greatest of all great feats are the humble souls who’ve set out to walk from earth to heaven with God. Men may not notice this (do not WANT to notice this – it condemns their own lives). They praise the Lord as they go on, & go up & will praise Him forever for the greatest walk – the walk from earth to glory. – 5/25/20

“Pride-spending money that’s not yours, to buy things you don’t need,

to impress people, you don’t like.”

– D R Matherly

There is One Person you can fully trust – God. Have you met Him? Do you spend time with Him? Are you getting acquainted with the Father, Son, & Holy Spirit via His Word? Do not trust any church (or church leader) 100%. Do not trust any government (or government leader) 100%. Same applies to a school, business, family leader. Become a whole-hearted follower of Christ, learn to recognize His voice, love Him with all your heart. Stop following people – Start following the Lord. You will NEVER be sorry. – 6/12/20

OUR God/Man

After a conception that was “One of a kind,”

Christ developed in an ordinary womb.

And, after a “trial” that was mockery – – – defined,

Christ was placed in a temporary tomb.

What an exceptional God/Man!

Pardon you Sir, Pardon you ma’am – you profess to love Jesus yet posted a meme with a 4-letter word? No political message, No pro-this guy/anti-that guy words are worth YOU lowering yourself to use language Jesus wouldn’t have used. Repent. And – – – if need be, stop posting. Amen? Ouch? – 6/14/20

“He can make the Bible the chief of books in the home…novels & other trashy literature will go into the fire; instead of ‘jigs & jazz’ & worldly singing…‘Jesus Lover of My Soul…’”

– J B McBride

Gen 2.8

“And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden…”

Planted a garden this year? Good. Hope you thoroughly enjoy the fresh leaf, “fruit” & root veggies as they mature. Plan to can, freeze, or dry some? Seeing a garden’s plants is a treat. Eating the product of the plants is even better. If anything is better yet, it could be, knowing your cellar, freezer, or attic space has a supply of food as a leaf falls & the garden slumps to a close. God made all plants & made them for us to enjoy. Don’t let this be (God willing) your last year to live better because of a patch of vegetables. – 6/14/20

Godward & heavenward or sinward & hellward.”

– J B McBride
