Psa 100.5 +

Psa 100. 5

“For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting;

& his truth endureth to all generations.”

“Prosperity is the blessing of the Old Testament.”

– Francis Bacon

You’ve perhaps seen a situation: church, family, business, other & said “There’s nothing I can do about it.” (I just said – after viewing a reader’s post – “I don’t like it, but there’s nothing I can do about it.”) Almost immediately the Lord allowed me to realize, I could pray. And – – – so can you. Pray about that situation which is ugly. It’s ugly & getting uglier. satan wants you (& me) to despair. God wants us to Pray. – 1/8/21

“All achieving characters have a sublime disregard of criticism.”

– Bruce Barton

God is Creative & was so in our earliest glimpse (Genesis one) of Him. Creation is a positive force, takes forethought (for all sub-creators-men), is up-building. The arch enemy of God, satan, is not a creator – he is a destroyer. The ability to destroy may take forethought but its always of a lesser nature than the power to create. Sinners destroy – like their father, satan. Sin is so negative! – 1/10/21

partly back

Brought up in a holiness home

Escaping, the wild world to roam;

Years later they came *partly* back

Dragging the world along their track.

No joy with church nor with earth’s foam.

The devil will try to silence our testimony for Jesus. I do not speak here of social media. If satan can get us to use carnal thinking, If he can get us to react, yea, over-react, we’ll be speaking/doing as sinners, not saints, & our testimony will be tinny; it will be carnal. O, Friend, let us (you & me) stay close, draw closer to Christ, NOW. – 1/11/21

“Pray without ceasing – Like a mother with a sick child;

she may do other things but her mind is on the child.
– Ken Thompson

Eph 6.12

“For we wrestle not against flesh & blood but against principalities, against powers,

against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”

“It’s not what you know but who you know” can be said about our work-a-day world. This is also true on the much higher plane of Spiritual Things – the key, WHO, being God. God has used men who had limited knowledge but they were intimate with God. They knew enough to believe the Lord & to believe His promises. When we truly know the Lord, He can trust us to work His Work. – 1/12/21

“God often uses mass movements

but He doesn’t rely on them.”

– Wallace Thornton, Jr
