You walked away from the Classic King James. You were younger than, sure of yourself, & of academic reasons for abandoning the Historic Anchor. Hopefully you’ve had serious doubts about the “translation” you adopted, perhaps you’ve already moved from XXX to YYY (& are having questions about both). What do you do? Allow a friend to suggest – Find Reverse. Make as public a confession (as you made a public anti “declaration”) & return to the True Bible millions have trusted. – 9/21/21

Why am I still living? (I suppose most of us don’t really know.) I love our children & their mates. I love our grandkids & if they have mates, those too. I love life, enjoy teaching/preaching, have a hobby or so but if I had to explain my extended life in 3 reasons I’d guess they are these (not necessarily “in order”). 1.) My wife of 60 yrs (I’ve ask God to let me out-live her, for her sake). 2.) My attempt to minister on social media (a voice crying in the “wildernet”). 3.) My prayer life. To God Be ALL Glory. – 9/22/21

The world & the god of this world (satan) wants you to live in fear. Fear of a virus. Fear of an economic crash. Fear of losing a job. Fear of not having “this or that.” Fear of death. God wants you to become His in salvation & sanctification; then – as a little child trusts his dad – trust Him (your heavenly Father) & enjoy His presence. “…Perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love”(1Jo 4.18). The choice: Fear or Not Fear – It. Is. Up. To. You. – 9/24/21

Proud – On what Scripture (ch. & v.) do you excuse saying, “I’m proud of…”? Paul lists PROUD with other wicked things “Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents”(Rom 1.30) AND “For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy”(2Ti 3.2). “God resisteth the proud” (Jam 4.6 & 1Pe 5.5) are further words opposing the Proud.
