1Jo 3.6 +

1Jo 3.6

“Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not:

whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.”

“It is a mournful fact that most men…have so much regard to public opinion that they dare not act according to the dictates of their consciences when acting thus would incur the popular frown.”

– C G Finney

I was disappointed today to see (again) a minister quoting a supposed “bible.” If you are a minister, you may be held accountable at the Great White Throne Judgment for saying “the Bible says” when it’s just the notion of modernist men who did, what-at-best could be called a paraphrase.

Pray before you quote a mistranslation again, please. – 10/15/21

“Unless the will is free, man has no freedom & if he has no freedom he is not a moral agent,

that is, he is incapable of moral action & also of moral character.”

– C G Finney

Why am I seeing church teen girls (& some no longer young) standing with a knee out at an *obvious* angle? Why the desire to draw attention to the ankle or calf, even thigh? If you’re doing this because So-n-So does in her pics, allow me to say you may not know how black her heart is. If you’re doing this because you saw it on TV (or movie) remember much of TV is wicked to the extreme. Please have a deep desire that your pic glorify Jesus & have no connections to the world of darkness. – 11/1/21

TIME – TRUE TREASURE

There are men of phenomenal wealth,

Some gained honestly, others by stealth

Men who can buy and sell a whole town.

Their fortune seems to have never turned down.

If we don’t watch we can envy such “blokes”

As more “lucky” than the rest of us folks.

Money is just a means to an end.

It can’t make a “home,” or a marriage mend.

We place too great an imagined “high”

On money, gold, and what silver can buy.

Blinded by dollar $ign$ we fail to see,

In wealth they’re no richer than you and me.

Time, dear friend, is the truest treasure.

The rich and poor receive the same measure.

Each start their day with a fresh supply

Of hours which drag or go flying by,

“Money Bags” has no more time in his day.

Than the poor; close, or a continent away.

Each of us should value time; make it count.

No one has more – no one a less amount.

Time may yield you marriage, happiness, a wife;

Money can’t even buy a slight sliver of life.

God has given “today” – use  it wisely, every hour.

Time, not money, has true-value power.

Looking for a wife? You may think it cute that a girlfriend wants to compete with you in shooting your bow or even gun. You may be in-a-way-pleased that she tries to do what you do & even Out Do you. BEWARE. Adam was given a wife for a Help Meet – not a competitor. A wife (in addition to childbearing & breastfeeding) should be able to do some things you can’t – as you do some things she can’t. But if your girlfriend wants to always compete with you, look for a better choice. Blessings. – 11/2/21

When love is abounding it produces a spirit of discernment.

Gen 2.18

“And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone;

I will make him an help meet for him.”

Now, halloween is behind us – please, I beg of you, never “dress up” again on this devilish event. (I once, sad to remember, paid some attention to it too.) Throw away all clothing (for disguise) AND all ideas that you can put “holy-water” on this night & clean it up. It’s wicked. You can “celebrate” fall (it’s my favorite season) & totally ignore the day satan has used so much. One more thing? Please stop the substitute parties for this evil night. Thank you for thinking (& I hope) praying about this. – 11/3/21
