“What therefore God hath joined together,
let not man put asunder.”
“It seems that the thing that people are most afraid of over the country is that supernatural, unearthly, indefinable, indescribable presence of the Living God.”

RAINBOW COLORS #3 Taking a stand against “fighting to keep” what are called “rainbow” colors almost demands that I address Ken Ham. I appreciate him building the Creation Museum. I’ve see all (or part of) it more than once. Thank God for Ken’s stand for a 6 Day Creation. That I sincerely mean. I’m not sure, however, that he is correct on reviving the use of the rainbow at his Ark park. Please don’t interpret me questioning the resurgence of rainbow colors in church as being anti-Ken Ham. We need to be able to disagree with a man’s idea here or there without writing off his efforts elsewhere. – 6/27/22

Want to be popular as a speaker? Try humor. Want to be more popular? Add more humor. Kids love it & immature people trying to believe they’re “christians” like it too. (I’m not saying “no humor” – it has its place [IMO] but it’s a very limited place.) Too many congregations are laughing but almost anyone knows they’re NOT laughing their way to heaven. However, the only man who can effectively preach Hell is the man who sees life as serious, salvation/sanctification as essential, & time as short. – 6/30/22
INNER STRENGTH
Without a photo a face fades,
Sculpture, pictures are memory aids.
Images help us remember
Beyond our mental endeavor
Our family’s former men and maids.
But is an odd jaw, wiry hair
(the limits of a photo rare)
Best? Should we not remember kin
For character, strengths, “stuff” within?
Generosity? Loving care?
How much better to know their goals,
The inner vibrations of their souls.
What they secretly, often sought,
What they seldom – if ever – got,
Much more important than facial “moles.”
Inner strengths have heavenly weight,
So crucial beyond that Great Gate.
Images we claim not to adore,
But probably we “put too much store,”
In paint, charcoal, pencil, and slate.

A grandparent died – & life went on. A classman departed this life – & life went on. Someone who stood up in your wedding passed away – & life went on. You lost a sibling to cancer – & life went on. A close friend drowned – & life went on. One of your parents expired – & life went on. YOU DIE – – – – –

Mat 6.15
“But if ye forgive not men their trespasses,
neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”
“If men are not stirred to love God,
they will trifle until they love something else.”

Have you forgiven Mr X or Mrs Y? “But they did me wrong & – – – I can’t forgive them.” Can’t? Are you sure you have the right verb? Can’t or – or – Won’t? Jesus asked the Father to forgive the men who nailed Him to the cross. “Yes, but He was God.” True. Stephen said, “…Lord, lay not this sin to their charge…” (Act 7.60). Stephen was not God, yet prayed a similar prayer. Ask God to help you forgive X or Y. Don’t let your bad attitude be “staring you in the face” on your soon death bed. – 7/2/22
