patriotism 4. “But – but didn’t Christ say, ‘he that hath no sword let him sell his garment & buy one’”(Luk 22.36). Read on. “And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough” (Luk 22.38). Two swords for 12 men; common sense says these 2 were on the level of self-defense – He wasn’t sending 12 men into offense with 2 swords. Use Scripture in context. Jesus also said “…Put…again thy sword into his place…they that take the sword shall perish with the sword”(Mat 26.52). – 7/6/22

You die. Your house is soon lived-in by another. You no longer have access to your bank. Your high-dollar car is sold. Those loved books get boxed & shipped. Your garden is neglected. Your music is silent. You are dead. All with which you surrounded yourself matters not a whiff. Earth – so important to you for 20 – 40 – 60 yrs is no more. You are dead – – – & yet – – – you are alive far, far Above OR somewhere in HELL. No sinner likes to think of death. But we all die. Someday….. you die. – 7/7/22

A bishop (pastor) 1.) is to be married. (Due respect to early Methodists, single pastors are unbiblical.) 2.) He is to be “he.” (Only men have wives; there have been women who’ve attempted to pastor – they were out of place.) 3.) He is to have only one living wife at a time. (The modern laxity which “looks-the-other-way” when a pastor/evangelist/singer divorces his wife & marries another is a disgrace to Christ’s Church.) If a pastor’s wife leaves, I feel sorrow for him; but he does not HAVE to remarry. – 7/8/22

Will hell have music? I’m inclined to doubt that. But please friend, do not allow any, repeat ANY, worldly genre capture you. To snag you, to fascinate you, to so captivate your being that you insist on having it run through your mind (& therefore your soul) day after day. In my opinion (for what little it’s worth) if hell has music – – – you may end being forced to hear the very junk you that helped damn you but BE UNABLE TO TURN IF OFF forever & Ever & EVER.
