eab spent 4 years in a christian high sch. – some classmates went left. I “crammed 4 yrs of college into 6” – part of that group took an easier way. Many years of life were spent teaching – too many students are traveling the broad road. Other years I tried to pastor & yes, even from church several are “doing religion” their own way. Obviously you don’t have to agree with me 100% (nice eh?). It is, I hope, EQUALLY OBVIOUS; you have to agree with JESUS 100%!!! Some of you need to change. – 8/1/22

Instead of God. One of the slickest tricks satan plays is getting people to have Modern Religion in stead of righteousness. Some “churches” are religious AND have own gym or ball field (the god of sports is accommodated. AND they bring in traveling singers for “entertainment” [that is a correct word]. AND a modern “church” may provide voting polls (Jesus drew a line between God & Caesar). Revivals are replaced by 1-2-3 day “emphasis” on something thot good but which misses the Holiness of God. – 8/3/22

Carnivals, fairs, the circus, the race
At such worldly spots the saint has no place.
They titillate, they engage the carnal mind.
Gladly Believers leave them behind
As they employee & enjoy, heavenly grace.

WORSHIPING #1. I hope you’ve had the pleasure of looking across a sunlit sanctuary & seeing a member of your family who was also there worshiping the God of Heaven. You were doubly related: blood of human kinship AND the Blood of Christ Jesus. You appreciated being family but oh, how happy (additionally) you were to be singing the praises of God together, Praying to the same Triune God & Learning from a Godly man as he preached holiness. Tomorrow we worship! – 8/6/22

Do not be PROUD. Do not say “I’m Proud of So-n-So.” Do not tell them that you are Proud of them. Pride is a sin. Look at Paul’s list “…covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy”(2Ti 3.2). I hope you do not covet; I hope you don’t boast; I hope you do not blaspheme, etc. so why, Dear Christian Friend do you say “I’m proud of…?” I fear we’ve picked up the world’s word. “It a habit.” It may be – – – Are You MAN enough to break the BAD habit? Amen? Ouch? – 8/6/22
