satan will see to it that every day or so you’ll have a chance to backslide. Our wonderful Savior will be with you (as you stay current with Him) to provide strength that you NOT slide back – Look for that way “to escape”(1Co 10.13). satan will use “music” “humor” “fun” to hide his lurking temptations. I beg you, stop listening to worldly music & so-called “christian” stuff when the boom, boom, boom is overpowering the measly words. Stop listening to “christian comedians.” Draw nigh to God. – 8/10/22

WOODSTOVE 2. Have a three-ply stainless steel stovepipe professionally installed. Take all precaution that neither ceiling, attic space, roof, wall (behind it) nor floor under it, get too hot. >> Do not lean on this advice only, please. << Make sure stove is out from the wall & that wall has insulation board. Make sure the model you buy has room for Fire Brick & that they are installed. If you acquire a used stove you need to ascertain that the Fire Brick are not cracked or crumbled – if so, replace them. Could we please cease the new “Celebration of Life” & bring back the old Funeral? Yes, there’s a place to remember his/her humor or personality plus (at the funeral meal or standing by the grave after burial) but I seriously doubt the final religious service is the place. That wayward son (grandson) or rebellious daughter (granddaughter) needs to hear a Gospel Message: All have sinned, Jesus died to save from sin, Today is the day of Salvation. Minister, please be faithful to these (seldom-in-church) souls. – 8/13/22

Compromisers feel more & more at home in the world. Saints feel less & less at home here. Be perfectly honest, Friend, do you find yourself cooling into spiritual coldness; happy to go with sinner buddies to a race or mere “attraction”? Or, has your praying time (just you & God alone) taken on a new depth? People- we are not stagnant; we’re moving toward games, time-wasters, worldly things grabbing our allegiance or we’re drawing closer to holy pleasures. Please stop your drift to the LEFT. – 8/14/22
