HOME SCH – Grammar 2. Without being unkind (maybe part of it’s my fault) I don’t recall having a teacher: grade sch or high, who loved grammar. The best teachers are those who LOVE their subject. Much is to be said for a teacher loving students (home sch or classroom) but if he/she doesn’t love & therefore KNOW the subject, your child is the loser. Learn grammar. Then (with the Lord’s help) learn to teach it. You child deserves a solid, grammatical foundation. I didn’t get that. – 8/16/22

entertainment 2. Dad, you – Yes, this is heavy – are responsible not only for a roof (& roasted potato “in the fireplace”) but you’re responsible for the Spiritual food (Bible reading/prayer) & what passes as “entertainment” under that roof. Don’t allow a TV. Don’t allow younger child (maybe no child until he can pay for his own) a phone on which he could watch TV/movies. Read to children – a natural for Home Sch – keep it up. You, Dad, as God helps, be the center of home enjoyment. – 8/16/22

God has no imagination. [Don’t for a second think this is a negative statement.] He doesn’t need one. Imagination is an interesting, profitable, human quality (I’m glad God gave me one). But, of course, the Lord is NOT human. He is so, So, SO superior to anything human that He can not be compared to us. Not in the least. All the imaginations of all the humans on earth (or already in heaven) collectively, can not equal the None-Imaginative Father Above. I love Him & love Him AS. HE. IS. – 8/17/22

DEAR LIZ – Open letter. I’m sorry you took such a strong (& as far as I can see, wrong) stand against Donald Trump. You’re the loser for this. I ask you to get alone with God. Beg Jesus to help you forgive (whatever it is) between you & the former Pres. Please also ask the Lord to forgive YOU for being so negative.
