IMAGE 3. “Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image…” has a familiar sound. What we tend to see reading this is a stone “god” or wooden statute, or metal idol (100s of these DO exist). What we miss is that we NOW in 2022, live in the age filled with the MORE images & BILLIONS (no exaggeration) of these are plastic or digitalized & are running at this moment ready for you to watch on social media. “Thinkers” don’t watch all this. “Doers” don’t have time. Christians are VERY selective. – 9/25/22

What in the world is a saint?
One who has no carnal taint.
One who has a perfect heart.
One who always “takes” God’s part.

In a holy church the pastor is comfortable stepping aside when he senses the Blessed Holy Spirit is taking over the service. The pastor is not disturbed that what he’d planned is being “shelved.” No, No, he’s Delighted that the Third Person of the God Head has deigned to visit this place of worship. If you see the pastor being restless with a breeze from God, if you sense him not knowing (or wanting to know) how to step aside; pray for him. If he doesn’t leave that church, you possibly should. – 9/26/22

Hunting #2 . Perhaps dad never hunted nor grandpa. It may be time for you to return to the days when forefathers not only enjoyed a hunt but fortified their table & larder with such wholesome activity. Do not hunt just to kill (unless it’s varmints). Do not hunt just for a rack “The slothful man roasteth not that which he took in hunting”(Pro 12.27). BOTH are deplorable actions. There’s a certain place (IMO) for marksmanship but pride in hunting is just as evil as other kinds of pride! – Sep. 2022

for there were many coming & going & they had no leisure so much as to eat.”
There’s a difference between resting/relaxing & being “entertained.” If fact they’re often opposites. To rest suggests a lack of noise – much of entertainment is noisy. To rest suggests no action – much action takes place with entertainment: some on a field, court, stage, screen before a viewer & sometimes the “viewer” is on the edge of his seat or standing yelling. Resting can be done for free – entertainment costs money (money is why many enter the field of entertainment). Learn to REST. It’s Biblical. – 10/5/22
