Dear Preacher Friend – older or younger. Do not have a “ceremonial way” you approach the platform. (If someone wanted a “pic” of humility, would your “ritual” be an example?) Some modern preacher/speakers go up on the platform & simply have a seat – like they “belong” there & “have everything under control.” In reality the platform of a holy church is (IMO) a bit more sacred than the rest of the sanctuary. This (hopefully) is God’s House. No man should (by words or action) treat it casually. – 1/16/23

SIDE TRACKED? [B.] The devil will “throw a switch” on you, unless you are careful – – – very careful. (Switches were once manually thrown to force the train or one of its cars onto a siding.) Friend, satan wants to sidetrack you. He wants to sidetrack your family. Sidings can *exactly parallel the main track. They look like you’re headed right BUT you’re off to the side (right or left) of where God wants. “Bryan, we’re OK, just because we now do ‘x’ doesn’t mean we’re lost.” Please, PLEASE get back on track. – 1/17/23

By nature we seem to like the gory
Gross details, enough to turn the tummy.
The Bible (& preaching from it) has the best story
Has faith. Has love. “Food” that’s yummy.
Stop craving the news of murder & lust
Of men dying, going back to the dust.
Christ has hope for the hopeless, the lost,
“Water of life” freely, freedom at no cost.
Challenge? Climb exceeds the Matterhorn!
But trek’s only for the Christian; the New-Born.

HELL [B.] If you’re middle-aged, you possibly were fellow students with, related to, worked beside, were neighbors to, even had a former pastor who this day is burning in Hell. “Bryan, stop. This is horrible.” I agree. It is. I post (among other things) to help your soul (& mine) be warned, to scare us so we obey God & do not join those in hell. Their time of probation is over. Their doom is settled FOREVER. You Friend, can still be saved. You can still say ‘NO’ to satan & turn (return?) to God. DO. – 1/18/23

You “thought” you were sanctified. You believed (in your head) in a 2nd work of grace & claimed to be filled with the Holy Ghost. You kinda – sorta – realized you were *elated with your position (you excused it). You did notice how NICE you looked in your new outfit. (Isn’t it natural to have a pride – as long as it’s a lower case “p”?) Then you died. As you were passing into the region of the damned you finally saw you’d lied to yourself for yrs. You’d been carnal, tho a supposed “christian” laborer. Oh, how sad. – 1/20/23
