Shallow choruses have too often replaced sacred hymns. A number of these weak ditties were penned by musicians with little to no rhyme, and less depth.
Many hymns were written in a “valley” as that soul agonizing for a right relationship with God.
Cheap “music” does not DEEP saints create.
