Col 3.13

“Forbearing one another and forgiving one another,

if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.”

“You can’t please the people & please God.

You can’t please carnality & please God.”
– C B Fugett, “I Have Played the Fool” (sermon)

A drug called entertainment is dragging people to theaters, stages, & opera houses to listen, clap, & give standing ovations. Are you addicted to what holiness preachers once clearly condemned? Please admit you are hooked & ask Christ to stop your craving for such worldly “drugs.”

“…Every sanctified person on earth is ready to give up his job if it is God’s will.

No man who has the Holy Ghost is seeking a job or an office.”

1Ti 4.13

“Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.”

Variety in Bible Reading for 2019? Try starting a 30(28-30+) chapter Book on Jan.1(finishing It near the start of Feb). 1/1/19=Chap.1, 1/2/19=Chap.2, etc. I’d encourage you to read a second Book (similar length) in the same fashion in the other Testament. A third Book can help you read the Bible through in a year. (Books like Psalms / Isaiah, etc. can flow over into next month, staring Feb. with Psa 32 or Isaiah 32.) Happy Holy Reading – the Best Book you’ll ever read!

“It is claimed that Geo. Muller…

read the Bible through more than 155 times.”

– Gilchrist Lawson

An unlit candle is an ornament, perhaps a conversation piece, a thing of “eloquence.” The unlit Christian is similar. “Ye are the light of the world…” is not an unlit candle. The unlit candle has no light, no heat, is a help to no one. A lit candle is consumed; but it lights the room.

“I never knew happiness till I found Christ as a Savior.

Read the Bible; read the Bible.

– Wm. Wilberforce quoted by Gilchrist Lawson
