Isa 57.15 +

Isa 57.15

“For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.”

Many by giving way to the language of unbelief

have lost the language of praise & thanksgiving for months, if not years.”

– Adam Clarke, /ChristianTheology/

God is Every:

Every-where,

Every “when,”

Ever-lasting. & He sees

Every-thing.

– eab, 3/17/19

“Every created intellectual nature

is capable of eternal improvement.”

– Adam Clarke, /ChristianTheology/

10 of 46 “…Pride & arrogancy…do I hate”(Pro 8.13).

Psa 31.20 Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from the PRIDE of man: thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.

HEAVEN, IS UP TO YOU!

Do you want to go to heaven?

It’s up to you.

The plan’s been made, The Price’s been paid,

On a promise that will never fade.

Do you want to go to heaven?

It’s up to you.

There’ll be no more sorrow, you’ll never ever borrow,

In God’s glorious coming ‘morrow.

– eab, Apr. ’81

“…Norman Vincent Peale (…said…there are many ways to God besides Jesus…)

…brought psychology/psychiatry into the church some 70 yrs. ago…”

– Dave Hunt, /The Berean Call/

Right now, the moment you’re reading this line, men are in eternity. Eternity runs, unseen but starkly real, right beside us. It is the True parallel Reality. (Any talk of “parallel universe” is mere imagination.) Someday every reader will be swung from life (as we know it) into the parallel called Eternity. What we’ve seen as so important, as priorities, as “to die for” will (if remembered at all) be known as a shadow. Real reality will be in place from then on – – – Ready?

Rev 2.9

“I know thy works & tribulation & poverty, (but thou art rich) & I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews & are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.”

“…Christian psychologists…have become the new infallible priesthood.

They have brought into the evangelical church the foolish wisdom of the world…”

– Dave Hunt, /The Berean Call/

I would not encourage you to hate what’s today called “Israel.” (Christians don’t hate individual persons or groups thereof.) I *would* strongly encourage you 1.) To read your New Testament, 2.) To pay attention to any & all real news about this modern state, & 3.) To seek the mind of Christ in what you support. I’d encourage you to not blindly back modern Jews in all they do. Some evangelicals strongly believe modern “Israel” is fulfilling prophecy. It isn’t wrong to question that. Examine it in the light of the Words of Christ & His NT penmen. All that glitters is not gold – – – all who claim to be Jews are not (Rev 2.9 & 3.9).

Isa 57.15

“For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.”

Eternity is coming! There is nothing you can do to stop it. Period. You might hasten it (being a daredevil or abusing your body) or you may hold it off a bit (healthy living) but you & I cannot stop it. Eternity is the most inevitable, Inevitable, ever.

– eab, 5/14/18

“He sanctified you to make you a more fruitful Christian.”

– B J Walker, sermon 8/4/09

What actors speak in film (made famous by media – hyped as “great” – therefore a “must” to see) is repeated by the audience as important. Sadly, those words were purposely placed there with an agenda – “scripts” don’t just happen. Some billionaire who wishes to change society, change the world for evil (but he’d say it is for “good” Isa 5.20) is leading the audience away from the Eternal Word of God & the really important Words of the Word are being ignored.

Pray

When you see by dress or walk

Or hear in loud, boisterous talk

An exhibition of carnal pride.

Pray for that girl or that “hulk”;

There’s a needy person inside.

Job 27.8

“For what is the hope of the hypocrite, though he hath gained, when God taketh away his soul?”

Authenticity: If you’re into songs of national origins (your nation/other) it’s probably best to hear one sung by a true patriot (not an actor). If you like songs of the south (bayou/plantation) it’s more enjoyable to hear a rendition by a voice rich in southern, native tones (not a wannabe). Without question, if you love the Lord, it’s only fair to Him & your faith to hear His praise sung by a person whose life resonates the truth which his mouth is portraying (not a compromiser). Please, Friend, for your soul’s sake, listen only to voices (live or recorded) which truly reflect the Savior – not a worldly “famous” or merely trained voice.

“The wars of Israel were the only ‘holy wars’ in history for they were the wars of God against the world of idols.”

– Dietrich Bonoeffer, /Cost of Discipleship/

Admittedly there are more important themes than some of my posts (& a myriad of other posts I see – – – but I digress. J) Hopefully the most important & those nearly as important are covered from time to time by eab posts. However, across 60(+) yrs of family/church/school/government observation, I’ve seen a truth here, a fact there, which some reader may have missed. Please allow a lesser than your “Top Ten Points” to be addressed occasionally – your neighbor, even your child, may benefit from that observation.
