Jesus Christ was born a Jew – that is a fact.

Jesus Christ died and arose, founding Christianity – that is a fact. If one fact is greater than the other, it is arguably His connection with Christians. Official Judaism (“He came unto his own, and his own received him not” Joh 1.11.) resisted His teaching, rejected His claims, and rejoiced at His death (which they orchestrated with pagan Rome). The Jewish disciples of Jesus Christ were soon welcoming men and women with no Jewish backgrounds into full fellowship. Christianity became its own vibrant force and Jewish traditions and rituals were left in the dust of the “Onward Christian Soldier” [1] movement.
