Pastor, have you, yes You, died out to sports? Brother, have you admitted to yourself that sports are a major god of this world? (satan has used them to get people’s minds off Eternity.) Don’t let sports attract youth to your church. Let the moving of the Blessed Holy Ghost attract them. “But there’s a price to having Him move.” True but being willing to pray & obey. Lead away from (not toward) sports. They are so temporary. – 1/29/20

We tend to like a man who is consistent: If he was opposed to going bowling, for example, last year he’ll be opposed this year. You may not agree with his positions (in all honesty his stand may “bug you” a little) but you DO like him being consistent. And, if you like Someone who is consistent, then you’re going to Love God, the most consistent Being ever. – 1/29/20

What is your attitude toward God? No, don’t say what you know your minister would want you to say. No, don’t try to sound pious. Truly, what is your attitude to the Almighty? Do you secretly hate God? Or are you trying to ignore Him? Or are you “OK” with Him being Creator but have no interest in Him being your Savior? Your attitude toward Him may be His “attitude” toward you when the death rattle is in your throat & your finger nails are turning blue. – 1/30/20
