Have you traveled beyond the Old Testament (OT)?
Christians are not “left-overs” from OT – there are serious differences after the Cross!
Some have not ventured beyond the OT – they’re hung up on Saturday worship
– it was no glitch that Christ AROSE on a new day, the first day of the week!
It is now His day, the “Lord’s Day.”
Some have not ventured beyond the OT – they’re hung up on Priests
– priests with OT flashy clothing, priests with their OT power.
The disciples (and since) are not priests but ministers/pastors.
Some have not ventured beyond the OT – they’re hung up on Wealth
– the “Health and Wealth” people are trying to still equate money with blessings.
Come on over into the New Testament where this is not the same.
Some have not ventured beyond the OT – they’re hung up on Divorce and Remarriage
– adultery is not the same as fornication. “…If, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress” Rom 7.3. Leave OT reasoning.
Some have not ventured beyond the OT – they’re hung up on War. Christ does not agree
– David killed many – the Son of David killed none; Christ said “turn the other check.”
The men making money off of war deceive with “God and country” camouflage.
