DEATH

Some hours ago the message came,

The solemn message of the dead.

(These are always given,

Given and received, with dread.)

Sad the duty to deliver,

Sadder yet to stand and take;

His coming is the vastly important Future News. Hark. -12/7/19

Read your Bible with a straight edge & pen or with a high-lighter (mark the last page first to make sure it doesn’t “bleed” through). Make A.B.C. or 1.2.3 on the margin to help you see more quickly next reading what God showed you in this reading. Color code your thoughts by subject material. Keep a bookmarker in the spot(s) were you are reading. Use a computer file to type in your ideas or questions about a certain passage. Study God’s great Book! Study It like your life depends on It – – – it does. 12/9/19

“One of the chief merits in expository lecturing is that it requires one to preach about delicate subjects that one might otherwise dodge.”

– Andrew W Blackwood
