“For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning,

that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.”

“Pride works frequently under a dense mask

& will often assume the garb of humility.”

– Adam Clarke

Have you forgiven him? Have you forgiven her? “No. What’s more I won’t.” O, Friend, I hope you SOON change your mind. “But you don’t know what he did to me.” “You don’t know what she said about me.” True, I know neither (nor do I wish to know). However, Sir / Ma’am you can’t go to heaven with un-forgiveness in your heart. Ask God to help you forgive. “But he accused me of stealing & I don’t steal.” or “She falsely accused me of immorality.” I’m sorry. You may not find it within your heart to forgive them but it you’ll let Him, God will give you grace to forgive – – – then He can forgive you. – 4/30/20

“God is holy & this is the eternal reason

why all his people should be holy.”

– Adam Clarke

This afternoon it rained,

And the drops that settled dust,

As far as I could tell, fell alike;

On the righteous and the unjust.

The clouds let it down,

On the wise man and the clown.

A just God. – eab, April 1968

Choose to believe conspiracies or choose not to believe conspiracies; you choice doesn’t stop them from existing. To believe them, doesn’t make them true. To say there’s no such thing as conspiracy is to be naïve (perhaps, to your own hurt). “Conspire 1a : to join in a secret agreement to do an unlawful or wrongful act…” – Merriam-Webster. If I had plans to “steal” your wife, ruin your name or bankrupt your company, it’d be conveint for me, if you didn’t believe in conspiracies. If you said, “I know him – he’d never do that!” Same is true about of any party, movement. Don’t be naïve. – 4/30/20

“Train up a child in the way he should go:

& when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

If you have a school-age child you need to be preparing, NOW to educate him/her this fall. It’s your right to fill his/her mind with the Bible, with how to read & write & with a love for truth. “But…but, I’ve never taught before!” No one loves your Johnny/Suzie like you do – no one can teach them like you can with God’s help. “There’s part of the problem, Bro. Bryan, I’m not where I need to be with God.” I appreciate your honesty. Start reading your Bible or reading it with more earnestness. Pray for forgiveness (if you need that). Pray & obey to be filled with the Spirit. He can help you teach until it’ll surprise you how well it’ll go. Teaching is work but one of the greatest jobs & that with your child! – 4/30/20

“He…that hath his portion first must needs have a time to spend it;

he that hath his portion last must have it lastingly.”

– John Bunyan
