Posts Tagged ‘To Vote or Not to Vote’

This post will not build up my friend list.

My Conscientious Friends may need it – – – Do not let Friend, Family, A-n-y-o-n-e, pressure you into voting. Jesus said “…My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world then would my servants fight…” Joh 18.36. Might He also say “My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants” VOTE? You have every right to NOT vote for the presidency. (It’s impossible for those pleading “vote” to prove your vote even COUNTS.)

A grim reminder – the “lesser of two evils” could turn out sadly to be the greater.

Does YOUR vote count?

In conference balloting? Yes. In primaries? Maybe. In a national election? Well – – – it’s debatable. USSR had “elections,” party people “won” time after time. Among my friends there may be some who do not see one man qualified for president. Yet friend’s posts insist, “If you don’t vote, don’t complain.”

(I’m aware some won’t like today’s posts.) I’ve participated in voting; 1st presidential ballot Goldwater, 2nd Wallace, 3rd Nixon but uncertain souls shouldn’t be pressured. It’s possible no one’s vote counts – the candidate may be already “selected.” God have mercy on America.
