Once a liar has gotten you to “swallow” moderate,

some-what-believable-tales he may (depending on “nerve”) try a larger lie. (Maybe parallel to kleptomaniacs who don’t need articles but want to see if they can “get by.”) Hollywood has produced many sci-fi films. The public knows they are unreal yet discusses scenes, memorizes lines, and places characters almost (if not in fact) on demigod plains. The stretching of the lie moves to new levels. Are the greedy, defiled producers testing how gullible the public is?

They’ll probably keep on until some (many?) people believe fictions to the damnation of their souls.
