5/15/1972 U S Supreme Court decision

(Wisconsin v. Yoder) ruled the Amish

cannot be forced to attend public schools

against their religious convictions.  One of

the Amish fathers was asked by an attorney

if he didn’t want his child prepared to live

in the world.  This dad is said to have wisely

asked, “Which world?”
