“The Wonder of It All”

There’s the wonder of sunset at evening

The wonder as sunrise I see

But the wonder of wonders that thrills my soul

Is the wonder that God loves me.

Refrain

O the wonder of it all,

The wonder of it all,

Just to think that God loves me

O the wonder of it all,

The wonder of it all,

Just to think that God loves me

2.

There’s the wonder of springtime and harvest

The sky, the stars, the sun

But the wonder of wonders that thrills my soul

Is the wonder that’s only begun.

George Beverly Shea was born this date (2/1/1909) in Winchester, Ontario, Canada.  The house in which he was born is about a block or two west of the main section of town (on the main street).  It is a frame house on the south side within very easy walking distance of the Wesley Methodist Church his dad, Adam I. Shea pastored. He is 100 years old today.
