2Pe 3.10
“…The day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away…earth also & the works…shall be burned up.”
“The most uncomfortable thing for a sinner
is the presence of God.”
– Steve D Herron
WONDERFUL WORDS. Every morning I swing open the massive gate & start a trek through the wonderful world of God’s inspired Words. At times I walk a familiar path – one I’ve oft traipsed before. Other days I seek out a trail with which I am less acquainted. Since I travel with only One Companion, I’m able to stop at vantage points & survey the scene – perhaps glancing back down the climb or scanning the elevation to which I’m advancing. Reading God’s Book is a Delight. ENJOY. April 2024
“When we put the Word to the test of our experience
we’ve gone modern.”
– Steve D Herron
If you choose to – & it IS a choice – you can see a negative here, a “not-so-nice” there, a sour-apple over yonder. I agree there are unhappy situations around. Sin *does abound. But allow me to encourage you to look away from the disappointing for a while. There are others who tend to “see” the positive only; you can see too much of this too. Seek to have a balance in your life-outlook. There’s a time to condemn wrong & do it soundly. There’s also a time to “Rejoice with them that do rejoice…”(Rom 12.15). – 4/13/24
“Little things bother us
because we are so little.”

Authorized Version
The Authorized Version has stood strong;
Forty some men worked four years long.
Its use established grammatic word,
It’s the Classiest Book ever heard,
Its teaching will save all from wrong.

1Th 5.23
“…The very God of peace sanctify you wholly & I pray God your whole spirit
& soul & body be preserved blameless…”
Do you love money? Why? “Money allows me to buy things that make me happy.” [Are you sure you want to admit this?] Money is only a means of exchange. You “trade” $ for Food. You “trade” $ for Clothing. You “trade” $ for Shelter. What if you HAD all 3? That’s what self sufficient men tend to have. Friend, stop your Love Affair with money “…The love of money is the root of all evil…some coveted after…erred from the faith & pierced themselves through with…sorrows”(1Ti 6.10). – 4/13/24
“We only enjoy what we share.”
[forgive an eab addition “We share what we really enjoy.”]
– Steve D Herron
KJV. [A.] Many Americans know the term “junk food.” We not only know the words, many of us have eaten/enjoyed it. (Look on back/side & you’ll see additives which aren’t food.) Real food you need – man’s “preservatives” you do NOT need. Some decades ago Evangelical & Holiness groups consistently read/preached/memorized from The Classic KJV. Along came “junk bibles” (they have “additives” AND “take-aways”). Get “junk bibles” out of your living-rooms & sanctuaries. – 4/16/24
