You can work for “corporate Christianity” and never know Christ. You can make a living, yea a good living off Christianity, make it your “life,” and never feel God’s surgical knife cutting out all carnal nature.

Blind vs blind

We live a mixed world:

Thankfully the majority of people are not physically blind.

Sadly, the vast majority are spiritually blind.

HE CAN’T FLY?

The bumble bee was out

Bubbling in his flight.

He’s only about when it’s windless

(Or the wind is very light.)

For scientists try to say

He shouldn’t be able to fly

(They know so much about

all the truth that they come-by.)

He does have a bulky body

With limited sets of wings.

Never once fear, His Maker

Is fully aware of “minor” things.

Mr. Bee bubbles on, quite content

Unaware of his dire predicament,

Climbing in/out of deep-flower vent

Pollinating? Oh, that’s a side-event.

He also reveals that death is also “an introduction” to a much worse death. It is natural to love life and hate death. Sin is unnatural. It tempts us to love death and to hate Life and its Source.

– Irenaeus, AGAINST HERESIES
