The Bible has “entertain” once (Heb 13.2)
referring to hospitality (perhaps giving food/drink/bed). “Entertainment” is not in the Bible. Yet entertainment is rampant; some seem to “live” for it. Entertainment takes time that could be used wisely for sleep (some are running on too little), for learning (including God’s Word), and for work (making articles that truly matter). Should Christians go to, or pay for entertainment? As a minister/teacher I urge utmost caution. Let nothing so grip you that you HAVE to see or HAVE to hear it. Avoid clicks where talk centers on entertainment.
God honors labor – I see no place He honors play.
